STEP 2
Measure Your Opening
First, tell us what you're measuring.
Measure the overall outside dimensions of the existing door or window frame at three points for both width and height.
1. Width (inches)
Measure at the top, middle, and bottom.
2. Height (inches)
Measure at the left, center, and right.
Please enter all six measurements before continuing.
Before You Continue
Measure width at the top, middle, and bottom, and height at the left, center, and right.
If your measurements differ, use the smallest width and smallest height. Do not average them.
Enter your actual measurements. ROZAN will account for the required installation clearance when calculating the recommended size.
Questions
What if my three measurements are different?
Small differences are common. Use the smallest measurement for both width and height.
Should I subtract the installation clearance?
No. Enter the actual measurements. Do not subtract anything yourself.
What if my opening doesn't match a standard size?
That's okay. Custom sizes may be available. Contact the ROZAN team with your measurements and we can help determine the appropriate option.
What is a rough opening?
The rough opening is the framed opening in the wall where the door or window unit will be installed.
